Team Build Momentum Complete National Three Peaks Challenge

Three Mountains in under 24 hours

Following Team Build Momentum’s successful completion of the 2017 100km Cotswolds Way Challenge we have now taken on another grueling proposition – The National Three Peaks Challenge. Our team, consisting of Directors Luke and Peter along with eight others, attempted to ascend (and descend) the highest mountain in each of Scotland (Ben Nevis), England (Scafell Pike) and Wales (Snowdon) all in under 24 hours.  Whilst weather and injuries prevented us all from finishing, four of the team were successful and crossed the line in 23 hours and 40 minutes.

We pushed through physical fatigue (and the night) as we climbed over 25 miles of rough and rocky terrain, whilst battling against unpredictable weather conditions and ascending a total of almost 3500m.

So far, Team Build Momentum has raised over £4,200, and counting, for Brainbow a unique partnership between independent charities – Anna’s Hope, Camille’s Appeal, Tom’s Trust, and Joshua Tarrant Trust – working with Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge to fund and provide a pioneering rehabilitation service in the East of England for all children with brain tumours.  If you would be kind enough to sponsor us for The National Three Peaks Challenge 2018 to assist us in raising money for Brainbow, you can still do so via our fundraising page via the link below.
